In the backstreets of New Orleans, residential buildings retain their uniquely historical appearances in contrast to generic modern standards. This green gate in particular recalled a period before automated doors, a fashion for carriages instead of cars. The splotched walls beside it inspire senses of age and concealment, as though nature is slowly reclaiming the structure into its fold.
